Fire/Rescue services are provided by the Indianola Fire Department, which maintains a class six fire insurance rating. The Department operates two stations with fifteen paid firefighters and twenty volunteers. Our firefighters operate with modern equipment and employ state-of-the-art technologies for fire prevention and suppression.
Law enforcement is provided by the Indianola Police Department, which currently employs thirty-four sworn officers and is developing an auxiliary officer program. In addition, well-trained emergency medical technicians are just a 911 call away.
