There are twenty civic clubs active in Indianola, and this is representative of the pride the citizens of Indianola have in their community. Numerous community programs are available for children and adults alike.
Indianola boasts twenty-five churches, representing eleven denominations. The churches of Indianola also help sponsor such programs as Habitat for Humanity and the Interfaith Food Pantry.
