On Saturday, November 8 at 9:00am there will be a state wide 'Let's Go Walking' walk. Meet at the Courthouse and first 100 participants to complete walk around downtown will receive a free t-shirt.

November 28 - 29, 2008 - Holiday Homecoming & Open House
Please join us in Indianola as we welcome in the Holiday Season. Holiday Homecoming & Open House will be held on Friday & Saturday, November 28 & 29. Santa will be making a special appearance downtown on Saturday from 1:00-3:00. There will be special Holiday Music & a children's ornament decorating activity.

December 2, 2008 - Art After Hours
Art After Hours will be on December 2 from 5:00-7:00pm. Please make plans to join us downtown Indianola for displays from local artist, book signing, music, food and lots of holiday ideas.

December 4, 2008 - Indianola Christmas Parade
Indianola Chamber of Commerce will host its Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 4:00 pm. This years theme will be "Jingle All The Way". Please stop the chamber office and pick up a registration form - deadline to enter is November 21.

December 4, 2008 - Cocoa on the Bayou
Indianola Main Street will host it's second annual Cocoa on the Bayou on Thursday, December 4, 2008 immediately following the Indianola Christmas Parade.

December 5, 2008 - National Guard Thank You Reception
The Henry M. Seymour Library will hold a National Guard thank you reception for Company D 2-198 Combined Arms Battalion on Friday, December 5th at 6:00 pm. This is their last home time before their deployment to Iraq.

December 6, 2008 - 2nd Annual Delta Sole 5K Run
Indianola will host its 2nd Annual Delta Sole 5K Run on Saturday, December 6. More information coming soon.
