quality of life. Its livability makes our community a favorite for many families
working in larger nearby cities. And while the local economy is still tied to
agriculture, a new distribution niche has been staked out with the location
of a massive Dollar General distribution center here. Additionally, SuperValu
maintains a large food distribution facility here. A network of four-lane
highways and Indianola’s central location have contributed to our success
in attracting distribution operations.
Indianola citizens have the best of both worlds. The community maintains
the security and warmth of a small town, but within a short drive are all
the amenities of several major urban centers.
